This movie is based on the true story of Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch). Inspired by many books he read, he decided to wander around the nation right after graduation. He believes that his belongings like his money, car, diploma and even his identity don’t deserve him. He burned his papers and donated all his money to a charity.
He purposely didn’t keep in touch with his parents and sibling, in response with his call. It seemed that his sister is the only one who understands his “disappearance”. During his adventure, he met a lot of people that taught him many things that resemble whatever he read from the books.
By the way, the story has been well-written in a book with the same title around ten years ago. Have you read it, Rey? :)
My Rating: 3/6
not yet, unless you plan to send a copy for me. are you? ^.^
Nah, you better watch it. Remember you plan to get rid of many of your books? I don’t want to give you a book that you’d get rid of later on :)
hahaha… are we negotiating here? my personal book assistant is currently separating all the yellowing books. new books won’t get sold (at least not this soon). can i get my copy now? ^.^

hi ancagar club. thanks for the pingback. this post is made by jordan for my blog, that’s why on the last sentence he was asking me if i have read the book which inspired the movie. if you like the movie and/or the review, i don’t think it’s necessary to change my name with your blog/group’s name as if he was asking you guys about it.
:) you’re wonderful.
